Kamp Kanine was started in Oct of 2007 by true animal lovers who are devoted to the care and happiness of the animals that visit Kamp.
After 20 years of working in Sales and Marketing in Corporate America, Carolyn decided to give it up
for what she loved best — spend time with dogs.
"It makes a huge difference in my day now to do what I love — play with dogs! My job could not get much better. Everyday I come to work and my biggest concern is to make dogs happy of course we keep them safe and look out for their best interest as well. While the days are long the rewards are huge."
Mark gave up his contracting business to train and spend time doing what he loves most — hanging out with dogs. Mark has been competing and training dogs for over 10 years. Mark also runs our Boot Kamp where the Kampers stay with us for training and this takes up most of his day. Training dogs correctly takes time and repetition. However, the owners are always happy.
